{"id":4404,"date":"2019-11-26T11:21:33","date_gmt":"2019-11-26T10:21:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cinegear.nl\/?post_type=product&#038;p=4404"},"modified":"2023-04-05T12:40:40","modified_gmt":"2023-04-05T10:40:40","slug":"metabones-leica-r-blackmagic-super16mm-camera-speed-booster","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/cinegear.nl\/de\/produkt\/metabones-leica-r-blackmagic-super16mm-camera-speed-booster\/","title":{"rendered":"Metabones Leica R &#8211; Blackmagic Super16mm Camera Speed Booster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<strong>Leica R Lens to Blackmagic super16mm Camera Speed Booster<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>Metabones (META-063)<\/strong>\u00a0allows you to mount a Leica R lens on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, while using custom optics to increase the angle of view and the maximum aperture of the lens.<\/p>\n<p>The Speed Booster works by shrinking the image circle of your Leica R lens down to better fit the smaller sensor of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. This has the effect of making the angle of view of the lens 0.58x wider or, in other terms, reducing the crop factor of the camera from 2.88x to 1.75x.<\/p>\n<p>When the Speed Booster concentrates the image circle from a lens, the brightness of the image is increased by 1 2\/3 stops, with a maximum output aperture of f\/0.8 when using a Leica R f\/1.4 lens. In addition to lens speed and angle of view, the Speed Booster also increases the lens&#8217; MTF, or how faithfully the lens transfers detail from the object to the camera sensor. These increases in MTF are seen in the corners as well as the center of the images.
