Aperture Control Options:

Dampened Control Gear (DCG)

In addition to the newly designed mount, we’ve developed an optional integrated aperture gear, SIMply called the Dampened Control Gear (DCG). DCG allows you to de-click and dampen the aperture on supported FD Breech Lock lenses while providing a 0.8 mod aperture gear for smooth aperture control. Using the DCG system will eliminate any issues caused by iris drift. DCG replaces the native aperture ring on your lens. Each DCG is CNC machined from Delrin and is etched with the exact f/stop markings as the native aperture ring. We strongly recommend the DCG option for all Cine Users.

***Please be advised that FD mounts are custom machined and made to order. You must select the correct lens. Each lens mount requires a unique set of Aperture Control Systems that is specific to every lens.

Buyer understands that this product is a special order item and is non refundable and non transferable.

Simmod (and, if applicable its reseller) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including without limitation lost profits, loss of business, loss of use, damage to property, suits by third parties, or cost of cover incurred by you arising out of or related to your purchase or use of, or inability to use, the products or the services of simmod, under any theory of liability, whether in an action in contract, strict liability, tort (including negligence) or other legal or equitable theory, even if simmod (or, if applicable, reseller) knew or should have known of the possibility of such damages and, as such, you hereby release simmod from any and all such liabilities. Without in any way limiting the foregoing, the buyer hereby acknowledges that simmod shall not be liable for any damage whatsoever to your property and/or equipment on which the products are used. You shall be solely responsible for any damage caused to your property and/or equipment as a result of the use of the products thereon and you hereby assume all risk in relation thereto. You hereby acknowledge that any use of the products in relation to your property and/or equipment shall be at your sole and exclusive risk. In any event, the cumulative liability of simmod (or, if applicable, its reseller) for all claims whatsoever related to this product or the service will not exceed the price you paid for this product.

The limitations set forth herein are intended to limit the liability of simmod (and, if applicable, its reseller) and shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.
