Godox TX3-XLR Plug-On XLR Transmitter

The Godox TX3-XLR is a plug-on wireless transmitter compatible with the WMicS1 wireless system. The lightweight design is comfortable for the talent to hold and can accommodate any handheld or shotgun XLR microphone (available separately). The transmitter can provide 48V phantom power for condenser mics and offers reliable transmission at a range up to 197′ line-of-sight.

The TX3-XLR operates on two AA batteries and is equipped with an On/Off switch that doubles as a mute button. An easy-to-read backlit OLED screen with adjustable brightness shows the transmitter’s frequency, channel/group, input level, muting, and battery life.

The system offers 96 manually selectable frequencies to choose from in order to create an interference-free transmission channel for wireless transmission to the RX1 receiver (available separately). Godox TX1 Transmitter

The Godox TX1 is a bodypack wireless transmitter compatible with the WMicS1 wireless receiver. Featuring a lightweight design, it is comfortable for performers and presenters to wear, while providing reliable transmission at a range up to 100m line-of-sight.

The TX1 comes with an omnidirectional lavalier microphone. The microphone offers a 360° sound pickup pattern, which is forgiving to your subject’s head movements.

The transmitter features a locking 3.5mm mic input designed to prevent accidental disconnection. It is equipped with an On/Off switch that doubles as a mute button. An easy-to-read OLED display indicates the mic’s input level, muting, and battery life.

Comica Audio CVM-AX1 Overview

The Comica Audio CVM-AX1 is a camera-mount, two-channel audio mixer for DSLR/mirrorless cameras. Built with portability in mind, it allows you to mount up to two mics, wireless receivers, or a combination of both, mix their signal, and record them directly to your camera—while monitoring in real time with headphones.

The CVM-AX1 features three 3.5mm audio inputs: left, right, and stereo. The left and right inputs can be switched to accept either a battery-powered or dynamic mic, a mic without battery that requires plug-in power, or a line-level device such as a wireless receiver or a mixing board. The stereo input accepts stereo mics.

The mono/stereo switch gives you the option of recording each channel either in mono or in stereo. Two volume knobs enable you to independently adjust the level for both channels.

Made of durable aluminum, the CVM-AX1 attaches to your camera using the included shoe mount. It is equipped with three cold shoe connectors, one on the top and one on each side to attach multiple mics and receivers, or an LED light.

Use the 3.5mm, coiled detachable audio cable to connect the output of the CVM-AX1 to the 3.5mm audio input of your camera. The unit runs on two AAA batteries.

Stepless Gain Control

By incorporating a stepless gain dial with up to 20 dB of boost, the CVM-VM20 lets you easily optimize your recording level without relying on the often-noisy gain stage built into cameras and mobile devices.

Selectable Low-Cut Filtering

With the CVM-VM20’s low-cut filter, selectable at 75 or 150 Hz, you can attenuate low-frequency rumble at the mic rather than having to address the issue in postproduction.

Focused Sound Pickup

Whereas most mics built into cameras and mobile devices capture sound from all directions, the condenser capsule of the CVM-VM20 utilizes a supercardioid polar pattern to deliver narrow frontal pickup and effective rejection of sound at the sides. This gives you more intelligible speech and sound effects recording with less overall ambience.

Internal Rechargeable Battery

Equipped with an internal 320mAh lithium-ion battery, the CVM-VM20 keeps you rolling for hours and hours. When it’s time to recharge, just use the supplied USB Type-C cable to connect the mic to a computer’s USB port, a USB power supply, or a USB battery pack.
