The Dual Voltage R48-MAX Battery from BlockBattery is designed to provide flexible battery power options for high power 48V lighting equipment. The R48-MAX accepts two inputs from any high current HCL, SLi, or legacy block in 28 VDC mode. The R48-MAX provides two regulated 48V outputs up to 750W.

BlockBattery HCL-1600 Overview

Charge your camera, lights, or other production equipment with this HCL-1600 1648Wh Multi-Voltage Lithium-Ion Battery Power Station from BlockBattery. The HCL-1600 features a 1648Wh capacity Li-ion battery that provides one 14V 4-pin XLR, one 48V 3-pin XLR, and two 22.5-30V NL2FX outputs to fit your equipment needs.

Right out of the box, this product can provide up to a 600W draw, powering multiple devices simultaneously. If you need 750W, pair this product with the R48-MAX (available separately). The LCD power meter provides ample information, including the remaining voltage, the current draw in amps, and the number of charge cycles that have been completed. The HCL-1600 is to be charged only by the separately available BlockBattery PSU-185 (36.5) charger, which takes approximately 12 hours to charge to full from an empty state.

Technological Capacity

This power station enables the combination of multiple batteries to increase output capacity and voltage, called QuickCell modularity. After each charge, this power station levels out the capacity across its internal battery cells with their AutoBalance technology.

It features one 4-pin regulated 14V XLR, one 3-pin 48V XLR, and two 22.5-30V NL2FX outputs.

LCD Screen

BlockBattery HCL-435 Overview

Charge your camera, lights, or other production equipment with this HCL-435 Lithium-Ion Dual-Voltage Block Battery System with Charger from BlockBattery. The HCL-435 features a 435Wh capacity via eight LiFePO4-55 lithium-iron phosphate battery blocks installed into a durable outer case.

The HCL-435 is suitable for mobile applications and to provide power to lighting equipment for long periods. For example, it can power an ARRI SkyPanel S60 for approximately one hour at full brightness. The system features one 3-pin XLR output that provides 20 to 30 VDC, 24V nominal output, and one speakON output that provides 48V regulated output.

The HCL-435 also features an LCD screen, toggled by a status button, to view your output current and battery capacity status. The unit is to only be charged using the included BlockBattery PSU-300 charger using the 3-pin XLR charge input port. A 3-pin XLR charging cable is also included. The outer case contains the inner cage that houses the battery block structure, and can be carried with the handle when you need to go mobile.
