The Light Widow Anti-Rotation Bracket spans across a standard 15mm rod pair. A motor or mounting arm with a 19mm mount can clamp onto one side of the bracket, which will then keep the rod to which the motor is mounted from twisting or flexing.

Light Widow FIZLock Motor Offset Arm

The FIZLock motor offset arm allows for more compact FIZLock builds. It also allows for inverted motor mounting, which is especially helpful with Preston builds.

The motor offset arm comes with interchangeable 19mm and 15mm rods where the motor is attached. The 15mm rod has tapped holes for Preston motors.

The Light Widow FIZLock is an articulating FIZ motor mounting arm / dogbone that allows for fine-tune positioning and engagement of the motor to the lens. This makes it so a user can quickly disengage the motor by just a few millimeters for an easier lens change, and then re-engage without having to re-position the motor. It also allows the motor to be engaged with added pre-load, making it easier to position high-torque motors so that there is no possibility of the gears disengaging during use. The FIZLock is compatible with any motor system that uses 15mm or 19mm rod mounting, including cForce, Preston, Teradek, Tilta, and DJI.

Light Widow FRS Upgrade Kit for ARRI LMB 4×5

Überblick

The Filter Reading System (FRS) upgrade for the ARRI LMB replaces the filter section of the matte box with a new module that includes an RFID antenna, an upgraded brake system, and composite trays. The system reads inserted filters using RFID tags that are adhered to the edge of the glass, and displays the data on wireless e-ink displays, or “CineTags.” The upgrade kit includes one CineTag, but can be connected to up to ten CineTags.

Using the RFID sticker tags, the FRS module detects the type and position of each inserted filter and displays the information so that the camera crew can easily keep track of what is in the matte box.

Features

The tags are easily programmable using a phone app. Each filter tag can be programmed to include a custom display name, as well as different background colors and display modes.
All of the filter programming can be done either at the rental house or in prep, leaving the camera crew free to focus on more important things during a shoot.
The FRS doesn’t send data to the camera quite yet, but each connected
CineTag does log every filter change to a CSV file either using timecode or real time.

Light Widow bag of 5 Anti-Metal Tags

Unlike other RFID tags for Light Widow products, the entirety of these totally-flat anti-metal tags will fit between the outside edge of a filter frame and the filter-reading antenna in any Light Widow FRS matte box or matte box upgrade kit. This makes them great for use with rota-pola trays or other self-contained filters.

Each 6mm diameter anti-metal tag comes with a pre-cut piece of tape to perfectly cover the tag on the edge of the filter tray. This increases the longevity of the RFID tag.

Light Widow RFID Tags – Sheet of 25

A sheet of 25 RFID tags that adhere to the edge of a filter. These tags will also work with rota-pola or other metal trays if the chip (the black dot) is placed so that it’s just above the edge of the matte box frame (see video for example).

The Light Widow CineTag Display is an app-enabled solution for displaying filter and camera tags, designed to attach seamlessly to a matte box or camera using hook-and-loop strips. Its e-paper screen is updated via the Light Widow app, offering endless options for tags that can be selected from preset lists or fully customized. This Red model also allows filter names to be saved directly to the CineTag’s memory, enabling quick tag switching with onboard buttons—no app required during shoots.

CineTag displays can also be wirelessly paired together so that when one CineTag is updated, any other CineTags in a specified group mirror that unit. This means that the DP, DIT, or any other crew member can each have their own CineTag that is always up to date based on the AC’s master tag. The CineTags can also be paired with the Light Widow FRS-Light and FRS module for ARRI LMB. Wireless range between CineTags varies, but with line-of-sight it’s often up to or even over 100 feet, or 30-50 feet with no line-of-sight.

CineTags log every filter change to internal memory, tame-stamping filter changes using current time and date, and, in the future (after some firmware updates), timecode.

The displays connect to the phone app using Bluetooth LE, and have a battery life of up to three weeks. The CineTags are also quite light weight, weighing only a few ounces.
