The Bushnell A5 8×42 Binoculars feature a premium optical system with fully multicoated optics and BAK4 roof prisms with dielectric and phase coatings. The 42 mm objective lenses, 8x magnification and 5.3 mm exit pupil support bright, high-contrast views for birding, sightseeing and general use.

An EXO Barrier coating helps protect the lenses from water, rain, snow and grime. The binoculars also feature wave-textured soft rubber armor, a snap-lock strap connection and IPX7 fogproof and waterproof construction.
